| Clarification | Our campaign received two $1,000 contributions via credit card. Those contributions were initiated within our campaign website on December 20th and December 25th. As campaign treasure, I was following the campaign disclosure guide and misinterpreted the receipt date for those credit card contributions when filing our A-1 document. I filed our A-1 with the receipt dates of December 20th and December 25th for those contributions. I contacted the Illinois State Board of Elections on Monday, December 28th to clarify if I had filed the receipt dates correctly. I was informed that the receipt date actually is when the contribution is deposited into our campaign bank account. I have been instructed to file another A-1 in correction and send this correction confirmation letter to Illinois State Board of Elections. At this time, I am filing a new A-1 document in correction. |
