ClarificationOn 8/8/12 we meant to make a contribution to Larry Walsh Jr but erroneously paid his father. The father assumed the check was for him and cashed it. When we discovered the error, the father wrote us a check in the same amount to return the donation. We called the State Board of Elections and were told to handle the check we received for repayment as a transfer in. Since we don't accept contributions, we aren't familiar with filing Schedule A-1's and can only plead ignorance. We were told today to amend the report to record the check as an other receipt. While amending the report, we noticed that local money received on 7/16 was recorded as a non-itemized transfer in and should have been a non-itemized individual contribution so fixed that as well.
